Launch of OneGeology - new start time
OneGeology will be launched at the 33rd IGC Wednesday 6 August at the new time of 15.30. The groundbreaking OneGeology project presents global geological map data on the internet, ensuring that a vast amount of geological data from around the world is easily accessible.

Join the excursion to the first UNESCO European Geopark in Scandinavia!
Take the opportunity to visit an outstanding part of the geology of southern Norway, close to Oslo. There are still a few places available on Excursion No 21 to Gea Norvegica European Geopark. Enjoy the intersection between geology, local culture and food during boat and bus trips inland and on Norway’s sunny coast.

Participants are strongly recommended to register for the Congress online to avoid long queues on arrival at the venue. Please note that single-day registration is also possible online. Choose a day and register - but be aware that single day registration does not include lunch and free transport.
