Karst and landform development of North Norway

Leader: Stein-Erik Lauritzen.

The excursion is linked to Symposium GSM-03 Karst as a global phenomenon - a tribute to Derek Ford and Paul Williams. Contributors (abstract(s) submitted) will have priority on the excursion. We will try to arrange the excursion early in order to give room for people preparing to attend the 13th Vulcanospeleology Symposium at Jeju Island, Korea.

Duration: 9 days from august 13 or 14 th.
Departure and arrival: Bodø (Flights from Oslo Gardermoen)
Group size: Units of 8-9 persons per van, possibly one or two vans.
Route:  Bodø-Kjøpsvik-Hellemofjord-Fauske-Glomfjord-MoIRana-Saltfjell-Fauske-Bodø.
Accommodation: hotels, motels and camping huts.
Cost: provided full van(s) approximately NOK 8,000,- per capita excluding flight from Oslo.
Equipment: Hiking and caving equipment.
